Our Mission
Aurora Sound LLC was built on the belief that stories have the power to connect people. Thoughtful audio post-production helps those stories land with clarity, beauty, and emotional resonance. We specialize in supporting publishers and independent authors through premium audiobook and podcast finishing services that blend technical expertise with artistic sensitivity.
Our team is made up of diverse creatives and dyslexic individuals who care deeply about accessibility, collaboration, and craftsmanship. We approach every project with patience, empathy, and attention to detail. The result is a seamless listening experience that honors the storyteller, supports the narrator, and meets the highest production standards so every listener feels welcomed into the world of the story.
MEET OUR TEAM

Gordon Blodgett
Founder
Gordon Blodgett is the founder of Aurora Sound LLC, where “effortless audio” guides every project. A lifelong lover of sound and storytelling, he’s produced and engineered hundreds of audiobooks and podcasts, helping voices shine with clarity and care. As a neurodivergent creator with dyslexia and autism, Gordon brings a unique ear for rhythm, empathy, and meaning to everything he works on. When he’s not in the studio, you can find him hiking, cycling, or hanging out with his cat, Theodore — the unofficial co-producer of Aurora Sound.
Lead Proofer
Josephine Barstad
Josephine Barstad is the lead proofer at Aurora Sound LLC. A lover of both reading and listening to audiobooks, she loves the unique task of poring through manuscripts while listening to how the voice actors bring the words to life. Her attention to detail comes from a background in classical music, acting, as well as a childhood desire to be an author someday. When she's not crying over fictional characters, you can find her onstage, knitting, or hanging out at home with her partner Andy and their four cats.

Samantha Nahra
Social Media Manager
Samantha Nahra aka Sam is the social media manager for Aurora Sounds LLC. As a neurodivergent creator with dyslexia, she approaches every project with empathy, imagination, and a collaborative spirit. When she's not online, you can find her performing as Buoy, The Brooklyn Mermaid or working on her debut novel, Love in the Time of Polar Bear Season.

Lead Engineer
Damon Hankoff
Damon Hankoff is a multifarious artist. Primarily a film composer, he is also a recording engineer, filmmaker, sound designer and performing musician. An avowed radio addict, Damon is fluent in the language of spoken word and audio storytelling.

Theodore
Unofficial Co-Producer & Mascot
Theodore, our trusty mascot and unofficial co-producer, spends his time chasing toy mice and overseeing all things audio. You can always count on his expertise to make sure your
project comes out purr-fect!
